FW: Fund-raising ideas

This year over 1/3rd of the teams in Arizona had a substantial money
problem and I am sure the rest can use some more. Carol has set up this
Facebook fundraising site so that we can share ideas on fundraising.

Remember; even if you do not make a huge amount of cash you have the
opportunity to build team spirit, and this will be worth a great deal in
the end. It is amazing how small ideas grow into great big ideas.

George,

I put this post on Facebook for the new Lunacy group to try to find out
what others are doing for fundraising.

Maybe you can direct teams to this site.

"I must do something" always solves more problems than "Something must
be done."

In her book, "Donor Centered Fundraising", Penelope Buck makes two
important points - 1) that sponsors want to know what their
contributions are making possible; and 2) that building a relationship
with a sponsor requires contact with them at times other than when
asking for money.
