FIRST teams,
Thank you so much for participating in the FRC AZ Regional. As many of you know, being on a FIRST team presents opportunities for teams to show off their robots. Microchip is holding several events in the next few weeks and months, and is requesting teams to volunteer to demonstrate their robots at these events. Please let me know if your team can bring a working robot for any of these events.
EVENT 1
When: April 23, 2009 between 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Bring Your Child to Work Day
What: Two teams (robot, 2-4 students, 1 adult per team)

EVENT 2
Microchip holds a technical conference every year for 700 of our customers, design partners, academic partners, and distributors. Every year, we hold a mini-FIRST event in the evening to entertain our guests. We would like 6 teams to volunteer to participate in this event. This event is during the summer, so school will be out, so I am asking early to get commitments from the teams.
When: Thursday, July 30, 2009

Who: We need 6 teams (1-2 adults, 4-5 students) and working robots

Schedule of events for teams.
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Need 1-2 teams to help set up field at resort
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM All six teams will be Microchip's guests for dinner
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Mini-robotics event at resort
9:00 PM - 9:30 PM Need 2-3 teams to help pack up the field.
